About the project
This hill country themed backyard was inspired by the client's move to Texas from California. The developer had placed a retaining wall directly in the middle of the yard which created an unsightly view from the living areas and the client wanted to remove the wall and create something more relaxing to sit next to off their patio. Utilizing the existing elevation, we were able to create a series of basins and falls as well as a beautiful outdoor kitchen area perfect for entertaining. The falling water over the boulders also masks the road noise from a main through street located behind the property.
