About the project
The Love Family Fountain was part of a master planned park designed by Howard Fairbairn Site Design. SchindlerDesignCo. was brought in to bring the reflecting fountain concept to life. The upper basin of the fountain suspended grates which hold the river rocks in place to allow for a subtle flow of water over the top that creates the mirror image reflection. Carefully shaped granite edging gives the clean edge to let the water flow down to the lower basin cascading down the hand placed stones creating a water wall effect. The catch basin is covered with suspended river rock as well to create a safe environment for the park without having a deep catch basin.
